No More Room in Hell 2: How to Early Extract

How Early Individual Extraction works in Objective and Survival modes, when the bunker opens, and what rewards you give up to save a Responder.

Quick answer

In Objective mode, the Early Individual Extraction bunker opens when three or fewer Responders remain alive. Entering it saves the character, but you surrender carried items, character XP, and part of the normal mission rewards.

Objective mode bunker

Once the survivor threshold is met, look for the Early Extraction bunker or hatch marker and move there. The mechanism was introduced in update 0.4.2 and is still referenced by 1.0 fixes, although its location and presentation can vary by map.

This is an individual exit, not a shortcut that completes the team’s main objective. Use it when preserving a developed Responder is worth more than the loot and progression sacrificed.

What you keep and lose

The official definition says the Responder survives, but carried supplies are abandoned and the character receives no XP. Credits and corresponding account XP are reduced compared with completing the mission.

A normal extraction follows the main objectives and ends at the team evacuation. Both systems coexist; reaching the early bunker does not mean the finale has been completed.

Survival mode uses a different trigger

In Survival, early extraction becomes available after the team fails two waves. That trigger comes from the 1.0 update notes and should not be applied to Objective mode.

The Objective threshold was defined before 1.0, so recheck patch notes if a later release changes the number of survivors or the reward penalty.
